Gwyneth in talks to bring Go-Go’s to Broadway

Gwyneth Paltrow is head over heels about The Go-Go’s!

The multi-talented actress is reportedly in talks to bring the music of the 1980s girls group to Broadway, following the trail of other smash-hit songbook musicals such as “Jersey Boys,” “Mamma Mia” and “American Idiot,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Female rockers Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Kathy Valentine, Gina Schock and Paula Jean Brown scored big hits with “Vacation,” “We Got the Beat” and “Our Lips Are Sealed.”

The band is alive, well and still touring today. The lady rockers are in Minneapolis tonight, and are set to play the Best Buy Theater in New York next Thursday.

They’re credited as the first all-female band, who play their own instruments, to hit No. 1.
