Cameron Diaz: 40 is better than 25

Between a hot career and a even hotter body, Cameron Diaz says she feels like a better woman at 40 than she did decades before.

‘For the first time in my life I’m content,’ she told Esquire UK magazine. ‘I’m so excited. Getting older is the best part of life. Like, I know more than I’ve ever known.”

The actress and star of the upcoming “What to Expect When You’re Expecting,” posed for the cover of Esquire UK’s November issue, modeling a number of flesh-baring outfits for photographer Terry Richardson.

Diaz, who turned 40 in August, told the magazine that age has its benefits. ‘I have gratitude. I know myself better. I feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it, I feel better at 40 than I did at 25.’

After dating younger studs including Justin Timberlake and Alex Rodriguez, Diaz talks candidly about why she’s never married: “I’m smart! No, it’s hard to say. It just wasn’t the thing I was drawn to. I certainly didn’t want it in my 20s. Or my 30s. So we’ll see.’

The athletic actress, who was a model before jumping into acting in the 90s with her starring role in “There’s Something About Mary”, also said children could certainly be possible: “There’s still a possibility of that. I ain’t that old,” she says. “Believe it or not, I’m feeling very …capable.”
