Rose McGowan took a swipe at ex-fiancé Robert Rodriguez at Sundance.
During a Facebook Q&A for her directorial debut, “Dawn,” a fan asked McGowan, “How close did the ‘Barbarella’ remake come to being made with you and [Rodriguez]?”
The actress shot back, “We had $80 million to shoot it in Germany, but he pulled the plug because he doesn’t know how to shoot outside of Texas.”
Based in Austin, Rodriguez has said he didn’t want to leave his kids to remake the 1968 Jane Fonda movie so far away.
