Anthony Hopkins hated being buried under makeup, prosthetics and a heavy fat suit to play Alfred Hitchcock in “Hitchcock,” and couldn’t wait to peel it all off. “At the end of every day, Anthony would tear off his makeup and say, like, ‘Good evening,’ or ‘Hello Clarice,’ ” a reference to his movie “The Silence of the Lambs,” his co-star Michael Stuhlburg told us at Ziegfeld Theatre on Sunday. “He had been . . . burning up probably all day long. He had been there for hours before any of us.” Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and others attended the premiere, followed by a party at ‘21,’ where songs from Hitchcock’s most famous movies were played.
