Colorful rap star Nicki Minaj was shut out of her own album-release party because her boyfriend, Safaree Samuels, brought a giant entourage of 30 male friends.

The pint-size rapper, known for her kaleidoscopically hued wardrobe and makeup, was due to celebrate the release of her latest album, “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded — The Re-Up,” at SoHo nightclub Greenhouse on Tuesday night.

Sources told us Samuels arrived before Minaj with about 30 guys. We’re told Greenhouse management “let him in with a few friends,” but didn’t let in most of the male group. Samuels was then heard saying that if his posse wasn’t coming in, [Minaj] wasn’t coming. When Minaj showed up in a Maybach a bit later, “She stayed outside in the car, then drove off,” a source said.

A club rep said: “Nicki was in a car outside, and didn’t come in because only a portion of her boyfriend’s group of 30 was allowed entry. He was trying to bring in too large a party, and therefore Nicki chose not to come in.”

Greenhouse co-owner Barry Mullineaux told The Post’s Tara Palmeri the entourage was turned away because it was too crowded inside.

Greenhouse is on top of club W.i.P., which was infamously left covered in glass shards and broken champagne bottles after the entourage for Minaj’s Cash Money Records label-mate Drake got into a fight with Chris Brown’s posse this summer.

Other sources said the NYPD, which has been parked outside monitoring the club every night with the aim of preventing another hip-hop brawl, blocked Minaj’s crew’s entry.

But the club denied the Brown/Drake situation was a factor in her entourage not being allowed inside.

“We’ve definitely had our issues since Drake and Chris Brown,” Mullineaux told The Post. “[The cops] are posted outside every night. They definitely would not want Drake or Chris Brown in the club; they’ve stated that.” A rep for Minaj didn’t get back to us.
