Channing Tatum is about to add world’s sexiest dad to his list of titles.
Shortly after wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum debuted a bump on the VH1 Divas 2012 red carpet last night, the couple’s reps confirmed to People they are parents-to-be.
The couple “are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year,” said the reps.
The “Magic Mike” actor and was crowned People’s “Sexiest Man Alive in November.” He had admitted to the magazine that he and his “American Horror Story: Asylum” wife were ready to expand the family.
“I’m ready; I think she’s ready,” Tatum continued. “The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we’ll see where we go after that.”
The pair met on the set of “Step Up” in 2006 and wed in Malibu in 2009.
