Pregnant Duchess feeling ‘very well’: report

Looking happy and healthy, the pregnant Duchess of Cambridge stunned during her first public appearance at BBC’s annual Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

According to Us Weekly, the Duchess was asked by former soccer player Gary Lineker at the event how she was doing after her hospitalization for morning sickness earlier this month. She allegedly replied, “Very well.”

Although the royal didn’t formally speak, she shared a few words with the honorees. She also reportedly told Paralympic athlete Martine Wright that being onstage was “scary.”

Kate presented Sebastian Coe, the chairman of the London Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games, the Lifetime Achievement Award. She also honored cyclist Bradley Wiggins with the Sports Personality of the Year trophy.

The Duchess reappeared to the public eye in a ravishing emerald green Alexander McQueen gown after her being hospitalized for three nights.

Still, it seems there was some concern about her health. Prior to the event, the 30-year-old mom-to-be was said to be recovering at home from hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness.

“A decision wasn’t made until the very last minute due to Catherine’s health,” a source told the magazine of the Duchess’ appearance. “She doesn’t feel well enough to carry out a lengthy engagement but was determined to pay tribute to [Team GB sportsmen and women].”

Kate and husband Prince William had cheered on the sidelines for Britain at the London Olympics and Paralympics this year.
