Kristen Stewart logged 60,000 miles while shooting “On the Road” but escaped the grimier aspects of road tripping. “I did enjoy showering at the end of the day,” Stewart told reporters at a Grey Goose screening at SVA Theater on Thursday. “If we were actually taking that trip, it would be the grimiest. I actually was glad to not go there.” Stewart first read the classic Jack Kerouac novel as a high- school freshman and says it changed her outlook. “It really kick-started something for me,” she said. “It probably coincided with the age I was, where you look up and you actually choose your surroundings, you actually choose the people who you are going to call your friends. At that time, I thought, ‘I need to find people who are really gonna push me.’ ” Castmate Sam Riley thinks this will break Stewart “out of the ‘Twilight’ thing” and tells us, “I think anyone who has any doubts about her talent will be squashed.” After the screening, guests headed to Top of the Standard, where Kirsten Dunst was spotted sitting on boyfriend Garrett Hedlund’s lap.
