Although Kim Kardashian was MIA for Kanye West’s 36th birthday Saturday night, it appears her hangers-on kept Yeezy occupied instead.

According to In Touch, West shot an “American Psycho”-inspired music video in Brooklyn over the weekend with Kim’s BFF, Jonathan Cheban, and Patrick Bateman lookalike/Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy, Scott Disick.

An insider quipped of the video, “Jonathan actually gets killed in the end.”

The video — reportedly shot at Brooklyn Fireproof soundstages — is allegedly set to be released later this week in anticipation of his new album “Yeezus,” out June 18.

“Kanye wants the video to go viral and drum up more publicity for his album,” the insider said.

Even though his girlfriend is due next month, the dad-to-be seems to be devoting much of his time and attention to his new album instead.

“Kanye is definitely on edge and nervous about how this album will sell,” an industry insider told the magazine. “He won’t promote it the normal way, and he wants to create buzz with all these weird, secret demonstrations.”

The rapper has recently made a string of public appearances to promote his material, including the season finale of “Saturday Night Live,” the Met Ball in May, and headlining the Governors Ball Music Festival on Randalls Island yesterday.

As Page Six exclusively reported, West is driving Island Def Jam executives “crazy” with last-minute changes, a new producer and legal issues over his new album.

Sources exclusively told us that last week — just two weeks before the album is scheduled to drop — West brought in legendary producer Rick Rubin to help lay down additional tracks for the record, and Def Jam execs spent the week haggling over rights for a vocal he used on his song “Onsite.”

“Even by Kanye West standards, this is pushing it,” said a music industry source.

West celebrated his birthday on Saturday night at Miss Lily’s in Greenwich Village with Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Nas. Kardashian was not able to attend because she can no longer fly ahead of her due date next month.
