Vanity Fair Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter is headed back to the big screen. We hear he’ll make a cameo as Owen Wilson’s chauffeur in Peter Bogdanovich’s “Squirrels to the Nuts” — a scene our source says is the first in the film. (Carter previously popped up as an investment banker opposite Richard Gere in “Arbitrage.” But while his station’s been lowered, the star wattage in this one’s higher, with Jennifer Aniston as a prostitute-turned-actress who meets a married Broadway director played by Wilson.) Sources say Tatum O’Neal will also make a cameo in the movie as a waitress, and famed Sunset Towers maître d’ Dimitri Dimitrov is being flown in by producers to play the majordomo at Sardi’s. We hear the producers threw a kickoff party for filming at restaurant Westville, which Wilson and Bogdanovich attended. The “Squirrels” ensemble cast will also include Cybill Shepherd, Will Forte, Rhys Ifans, Imogen Poots and Lucy Punch, and the movie’s being produced by a team that includes Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach.
