“Twilight” creator Stephenie Meyer says fans of her vampire franchise have a lot in common with those in her new movie, “Austenland,” about Jane Austen fanatics. “It’s a fan of all-encompassing love, and it’s supposed to last forever,” she told us at a Cinema Society screening of the Sony Pictures Classics’ romantic comedy, which stars Keri Russell, Jennifer Coolidge and JJ Feild, at the Landmark Sunshine. “They have heroes that we love and want to spend time with.” Meyer’s been married for 19 years and “it better be forever. That’s what we promised,” she continued. After the screening, Russell, Feild and more headed to the Alice + Olivia-sponsored bash at Jimmy at the James Hotel.
