Former Bravo star Kelly Bensimon’s yard sale — in the parking lot of Hamptons hot spot Georgica on Saturday afternoon — offered everything from beds handmade in Italy and jewelry from her collection, to stuffed animals, American flags, pillows, lamps, an image of her Playboy cover and “Real Housewives of New York” bric-à-brac. We saw her former cast mate Jill Zarin stopping by to browse. (In true reality-TV star mode, Zarin was seen bending over to inspect some items, then popping back up and having a very public nipple slip. Quick-witted Bensimon reached over to help hike up Zaran’s shirt, then began singing humorously, “That’s what friends are for.”) Amid Bensimon’s treasure culled from her former Hamptons mansion on Further Lane, Zarin found a can of tennis balls and opened them to discover one was signed by Serena Williams. She told Kelly not to sell them. Former “The View” host Joy Behar was given a special VIP discount. “These are the same lampshades as the ones I just bought!” Behar said while looking at lighting. “They’re yours. No charge,” Bensimon offered. The one-off tag sale diva told us the stuff being offered was “from everywhere. East Hampton, New York. I had this huge house to put things in, and now I have to downsize. I was going to move to Florida in January, and that’s why I was like, ‘OK, we’re good.’ And then we decided to stay in New York and our apartment is smaller than this big house. My ex-husband wants me here so we’re gonna stay [in the area].” Bensimon, who’s living in Manhattan with her two daughters, reportedly sold her Hamptons house for just over $5.5 million after originally seeking $12 million. She reportedly said of the sell-off, “I can’t afford the lifestyle I did when I was married . . . I’m a working single mother.” She was married to fotog Gilles Bensimon.
