Socialite and Russian heiress Anna Anisimova was a regular tabloid fixture back in 2005, when at age 20 she bought Diane von Furstenberg’s West Village townhouse for $23 million, and then again in 2006, when she broke Hamptons records spending a whopping $600,000 for a two-month rental.
However, more recently, Anisimova — once dubbed the “Russian-American Paris Hilton” — has settled down, built an acting career and is expecting her first child, Page Six can reveal.
She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting and married her longtime beau, film producer Peter Schafer, in 2010, shortly after listing her Time Warner Center apartment for $50 million.
Anisimova recently had a role alongside Rachel Weisz in “The Whistleblower,” as well as in “Father of Invention,” starring Kevin Spacey.
A source tell us, “Anna spent years working with her acting coach, living a very quiet life 20 minutes outside of LA.” Sources now exclusively tell us that Anna is expecting her first child in April. Her rep did not comment.
