Darren Aronofsky is turning East Village eatery The Smith into his own Hollywood commissary. The director took a late lunch with Leonardo DiCaprio Thursday afternoon, onlookers report. DiCaprio, wearing a baseball cap, entered 10 minutes after Aronofsky, and the two met for an hour before parting ways. Sources close to the pair added that the lunch was “friendly” and not about any specific projects. Aronofsky had been spotted at The Smith with Hugh Jackman a few weeks ago, just before news broke that the director dropped out of Jackman’s flick “The Wolverine” to spend time with his family.
