And we’re all going to put on Suzanne Somers’ hormone cream, and then we’ll have a very holistic, organic meal, although my mother will have non-holistic wine, and lots of it.”

Then the Robertsons get together on Christmas night. There will be a lot of storytelling . . . We’ll be giving thanks to the Lord.”

We live within 10 blocks of my husband’s family [Hanna’s husband is Adam Horovitz of the Beastie Boys]. We do Secret Santa and there’s always a big fight every year. There’s like 12 grown-ups and to buy presents for all those people, it’s like a yearlong job. But then certain people who shall remain nameless buy presents for everyone and make the people who did do Secret Santa look really bad. So then I had to write out the ‘What part of Secret Santa don’t you understand?’ e-mail and everyone gets really mad at me.”
