In Lady Gaga’s latest bid to stay relevant, the artist was repeatedly puked on during her Thursday night performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas.
But Gaga didn’t let just anyone regurgitate on her body onstage — she hired professional puker Millie Brown to do the deed. The 27-year-old splattered Mother Monster in green and black bile during her rendition of “Swine.” The two then proceeded to scissor aboard a mechanical bull onstage.
“I won’t play by your f - - king rules — this is our world,” the pop singer screamed into the mike in the middle of the act.
Brown has been transforming her stomach contents into paintings since 2005, when she became bored with other kinds of compositions. She starves herself for days before drinking colored soy milk then forcing herself to throw it up.
To the world, this may be considered bulimia, but for Brown, it’s art. “It’s definitely not recommended to put your body through this, but I’m generally a healthy person, so I feel like that balances out the rest,” she said.
Brown previously collaborated with Gaga for her “Exorcist Interlude” music video.
