“True Blood” co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together.
Reps for the actors have confirmed news of Paquin’s pregnancy to EW, adding that the Oscar winner is due in the fall.
Paquin and Moyer met on the set of the HBO series in 2007. Moyer soon broke up with his girlfriend of seven years, British journalist Lorien Haynes, and began dating Paquin. The pair announced their engagement in 2009 and married in Malibu, California, in August of 2010.
While this will be Paquin’s first child, Moyer has two children from previous relationships.
Paquin and Moyer have said that their real-life relationship has helped them add heat to their relationship on-screen.
“Maybe it should be weird, simulating sex with your husband in front of people? But it’s really not,” Paquin once told V Magazine. “When it’s a love scene with someone you actually love, there’s no feeling like, ‘Can I touch him here? Can I touch him there?’ You know what your boundaries are – or what they aren’t, I suppose.”
The couple will return to the screen as Sookie and Bill on June 10, with the premiere of season five of “True Blood.”
