A group of residents in Nashville, Tennessee, have filed a class-action lawsuit against ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” claiming that the show has willfully excluded African American contestants. In the lawsuit, filed today and obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, a man by the name of Christopher Johnson claims that he was never considered for the show, despite attending a casting call, because of his race.

To celebrate Suri Cruise’s sixth birthday today, Katie Holmes took her to see Disney’s “Newsies: The Musical” on Broadway. Paparazzi besieged the pair outside the theater, and Suri clung tightly to Holmes as they made their exit. It did not, however, look like willowy Holmes would be able to carry her growing daughter for too much longer.

Amanda Bynes is thoroughly fed up with comparisons to Lindsay Lohan, a source close to the actress told Radar Online last night. “Amanda thinks its extremely unfair that people are calling her the new Lindsay Lohan,” the source says. “She just thinks it’s sexist that the two are being compared. Men in Hollywood that get arrested for DUI’s don’t face the same scrutiny that women do and that is what really irks Amanda.”

51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison is counting down the days to wife Courtney Stodden’s 18th birthday. In a creepy, faux-voyeuristic video going viral today, Hutchison rubs and kisses Stodden’s injured foot. The video is titled “Courtney’s Countdown” and declares that there are 135 days until the blonde’s birthday.

There appeared to be no hard feelings between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez after the two appeared on rival television shows last night, with Gomez performing on “Dancing with the Stars” while Bieber teased his new video on “The Voice.” The two attended a Lakers game following their dueling tapings and were caught mid-kiss by the Staples Center’s Kiss Cam, Hollywood Life reports today.
