Taylor Swift may soon be playing Joni Mitchell on the big screen, Variety reports today. Sources say that Sony and Di Bonaventura Pictures are narrowing in on the country crooner for a part in the film adaptation of Sheila Weller’s book, “Girls Like Us,” about Mitchell, Carly Simon, and Carole King.

Aspiring actress Racquel Bailey spent $1500 on a billboard near Tyler Perry’s studio in Atlanta, urging the director to, “Let me be your next leading lady.” Bailey tells Gossip Cop this afternoon, “It’s all that I had. I believe in myself so much that I will take this risk.” Perry has yet to respond.

Selena Gomez doesn’t feel jealous that boyfriend Justin Bieber has recorded a duet with Taylor Swift. “It’s beautiful.
