Nicki Minaj’s vocal chords might be temporarily shot, but there’s no quieting down the fiery rapper.
Minaj was “gutted” for canceling her weekend U.K. concerts at the V Festival in England due to bruised vocal chords, but in a string of expletive heavy tweets, she aimed directly at her critics for making her feel bad for canceling.
“Like people are hitting me telling me I shldve mimed. No! Then you woulda make a [bleep]ing STORY out of that too! #killya[bleep]ing self,” she tweeted Monday.
The “Starships” rapper continued her rant by letting her critics know that she ignored her doctors when it came to voice issues in the past.
“I will NOT let you people make me feel horrible for a [bleep]ing HEALTH issue! That’s what got me in this mess! I shldve listened 2 the doctor!” Minaj tweeted.
She even let on that her condition is more serious that just a sore throat.
‘I was in jeopardy of losing my voice entirely and needing surgery on my vocal chord. If u can’t understand that, your mother’s a WHORE!!!!’ She tweeted.
“If u have anything negative to say to me, please #Eat[bleep]AndDie – I am human.”
Minaj performed on the “Today Show” on August 14. Her rep explained via Hollywood Reoprter, “despite doctor’s orders, she performed on a bruised vocal [cord] in New York on August 14. As a result, the [cord] has gotten worse.”
In other Minaj news, the rapper will be joining Mariah Carey at the judges’ table on “American Idol.” reports Us Weekly.
“I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it,” an insider reveals. “A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening.”
