Pippa Middleton has been turning heads as she attended meetings in New York in a scarlet minidress — but despite reports linking her to two men, she is heading back to London without a Prince Charming.

Pippa, the sister of Kate Middleton, looked stunning in a $395 Imelda dress by British designer Misha Nonoo, who is a close friend. The “Pippa effect,” we hear, has sparked a rush on Nonoo’s designs, which are stocked at Bergdorf Goodman.

We’re told that after Misha posted a picture of Pippa in the dress on her Facebook page, the designer was inundated with orders online, while it was the talk of Bergdorf’s on Fashion’s Night Out.

Pippa, 29, was linked with handsome hotelier André Balazs, after they were seen at his Sunset Beach hotel on Shelter Island last weekend, then was seen at the US Open with Spencer Vergosen, the son of the US Tennis Federation president Jonathan Vegosen. But sources tell us that neither meeting turned into a romance.

One source told us, “Pippa enjoyed spending time with André, but he is much older than her, and has the reputation of a ‘player.’ She met André Balazs through Misha and her husband, Alexander Gilkes, after André invited them to Shelter Island.”

Pippa has been in town this week for meetings about her book, “Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Family and Friends,” published by Viking on Oct. 30. Sources tell us she will be back in the US in late October to go on tour.

Meanwhile, Pippa caused a different kind of stir while celebrating her 29th birthday in the Meatpacking District on Thursday. A fotog tried to follow her inside Toy sushi restaurant at the Hotel Gansevoort, and was attacked by a hostess, sources told The Post’s Jessica Simeone.

Vanessa Cedeno, 33, allegedly chucked a glass at the man’s leg, which was gashed. Cedeno was arrested on assault charges. She sobbed in court yesterday when the judge ordered her held on $7,500 bond. Her lawyer, Joshua Blumenfeld, said she was acting in self-defense.
