Eva Longoria flew back to New York from the Democratic National Convention Friday morning to take in the US Open women’s semifinal match between Victoria Azarenka and Maria Sharapova. Longoria admitted to guests in the Moët & Chandon suite that she was “so nervous to speak” at the convention Thursday night about women’s rights and Latino issues. But Longoria, recently seen hanging out with Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, seemed more at ease as she watched Azarenka defeat Sharapova, and was spotted lying on the couch at the Moët suite at one point. Longoria has made several trips to the Open to watch her friend Serena Williams, who won her semifinal Friday afternoon.
