Jessica Simpson officially unveiled her post-baby weight loss on Tuesday when she sat down as Katie Couric’s first guest on “Katie.”

“I’m very nervous!” she admitted. “I just had a lot of pressure on me to lose the baby weight. Today was one of my goals: getting here, feeling comfortable. I feel beautiful today!”

True to her bubbly-ditzy persona, Simpson believed that when her water broke she would lose the baby weight. “All the weight did not come off with the baby!” she laughed.

“I put on more baby weight than I was planning on putting on,” she said to Couric. “I really have to separate myself from the world’s expectations and really just look inside myself and be healthy with myself.”

She continued about how her $3 million weight loss endorsement with Weight Watchers is “definitely a challenge.” She said she won’t receive the money until she reaches her target weight.

Later in the interview, the “Fashion Star” mentor talked about her new role as a mother. “I want to be a phenomenal role model for my child,” she said, adding, “Motherhood is a dream.”

She also addressed her wedding plans with fiancée Eric Johnson. “We have not set a date,” she said. “It won’t be this year. We haven’t had time. I really want to do a big fun wedding with my friends and family.”
