‘Happy Days’ star Erin Moran in nasty street brawl with mother-in-law: report

“Happy Days” actress Erin Moran is continuing her shocking downward spiral after reportedly getting into a profanity-laced brawl with her elderly mother-in-law.

Previous reports indicated that the former child star, now 57, was jumping from motel to motel with husband Steve Fleishman. The National Enquirer now claims that they had asked Fleishman’s mother if they could move back into the Indiana trailer home they all had shared before but she refused.

But Moran reportedly tried to sneak back into the trailer anyway before getting caught by her irate mother-in-law.

According to the tabloid’s witness, the situation escalated and Fleishman’s mother threatened to call the police if Moran didn’t leave immediately.

“She finally did leave, but Steve’s mom was right on her heels, chasing her out of the trailer, shouting at Erin as she made her way across the yard to their car,” said the witness. “Steve’s mom was standing in the street in a nightgown and hair curlers, and the two women were screaming profanities at each other.”

The alleged incident nearly became physical but Fleishman intervened and managed to get his wife into their car.

A source told the Enquirer that the living situation for the actress, who once played Joannie Cunningham with Ron Howard as her older brother, has become more dire than ever, and added “she’s desperate and quickly running out of options.”
