LiLo shuns Barbara — pulls out of ‘20/20’ interview

Lindsay Lohan has pulled out of her highly anticipated “20/20” interview with Barbara Walters.

Last month it was confirmed that Lohan would have a substantial interview with the veteran TV journalist this week to coincide with her new Lifetime flick “Liz & Dick.”

However, Deadline reports that the actress pulled out last minute because her new PR team Rogers & Cowan was “dissatisfied with the direction ABC wanted to take the interview.”

The “Mean Girls” star had originally agreed to the interview because it was supposed to focus on her new movie, but sources close to the actress tell TMZ that producers wanted Walters to ask about her personal life as well, including the new allegation that she lied to the police after her June car crash on Pacific Coast Highway.

The gossip site says that Lindsay’s team didn’t want her to possibly say anything that be detrimental to her crash case.

Lohan reportedly “feels terrible” for canceling on Barbara because she considers Walters a family friend and plans reschedule as soon as her team feels the time is right.
