Caroline Kennedy sued after daughter’s car crash: report

John F. Kennedy’s granddaughter Rose Schlossberg has reportedly been sued over allegations that she crashed her Chevy Impala into another car on Wilshire Boulevard in LA.

Rose and her mother Caroline Kennedy were both named in a lawsuit by an unnamed motorist who claims Rose crashed into his Honda Civic back in August, reports TMZ.

The driver filed a lawsuit at the LA County Superior Court alleging he suffered serious physical and mental injuries as a result of Rose’s “negligent” and “careless” driving. He reportedly demanded more than $25,000 in damages.

The gossip site reports that Caroline was not in the car but she was named in the lawsuit because she is the legal owner of the vehicle.

The victim’s lawyer tells TMZ they’ve already reached a settlement out of court with Caroline and Rose’s team. They will take action to have the case dismissed.

“Everybody, including the Kennedys, and their insurance company, were very caring, understanding, ethical, and honest,” the victim’s lawyer said. “They were first rate people, we’re very satisfied.”
