Matt Abramcyk to open new space on Houston

Matt Abramcyk, an owner of Super Linda, Tiny’s and the former Beatrice Inn, is apparently opening his next venue on the Lower East Side. We hear Abramcyk and partner Franco Vlasek have filed a liquor license application for 269 E. Houston St., currently home to dive Local 269. The application is for a bar/lounge which would be open till 4 a.m. and serve “light food.” The space will have two levels with 18 tables and a capacity of 46 people. A rep for Abramcyk declined to comment.
