Katie Holmes certainly made a splash with her Broadway return last night. In one memorable scene, the actress shared a steamy kiss with her “Dead Accounts” costar Josh Hamilton.
Recent reports have blared that the married Hamilton has developed a “crush” on Holmes during production of the Broadway comedy, but sources tell us that they are simply friends and co-stars.
Another source told the Chicago Sun-Times that “Katie is not interested in anyone romantically right now. She is completely consumed with providing Suri a stable homelife and doing a great job with this play”
“Dead Accounts,” started previews yesterday following a delay caused by Sandy. According to People, the preview ended with a standing ovation for the cast as they took their final bow. Holmes herself earned cheers from the audience on several occasions, once during a speech about Wall Street greed and also when she deftly fixed a broken prop in the middle of her dialogue.
“Dead Accounts” is about a family and their prodigal son who unexpectedly returns to his hometown of Cincinnati from New York.
