Madison Square Garden eatery past its Prime

The National Hockey League lockout has iced Ainsworth Prime’s Madison Square Garden location after barely a year. “Madison Square Garden has been a great partner to us over the past year,” said Paige Hospitality Group president and CEO Matt Shendell. “However, due to the current state of the NHL lockout, we have decided against renewing our contract with the arena.” Carmelo Anthony, Jamie Foxx and Spike Lee have all been by the steakhouse/pub after Knicks games. The Ainsworth has other locations in Chelsea and in Union Square.
