Meryl Streep had a lot of fun prepping for her role as a very badly behaved Oklahoma matriarch in “August: Osage County.” “It was a lot of smoking and bad posture and staying up late drinking red wine with [actress] Margo [Martindale],” Streep said at an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Q&A. She was joined at the AMC Lincoln Square event by Martindale, Abigail Breslin, Juliette Lewis, Dermot Mulroney, Chris Cooper, director John Wells and writer Tracy Letts.
