‘50 Shades’ movie not for Emma Watson

Sorry to disappoint, but Emma Watson still won’t be trading witch wands for handcuffs.

The “Harry Potter” actress has been rumored to star as the female lead of the “Fifty Shades of Grey” film adaptation since the gears started churning. And despite her repeated denials, speculation renewed when hacker group Anonymous leaked documents from German studio Constantin Film that allegedly confirmed Watson’s involvement in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

GossipCop reports today that nothing has changed – sources tell the site that Watson may be on the wish list but she currently remains unattached.

In August, Watson told Entertainment Weekly, “I haven’t read the book, I haven’t read a script, nothing!”

She continued, “Just because there are 60 articles on the internet doesn’t mean it’s any less true than if there are three or four.”

Even “Fifty Shades of Grey” author E L James told Page Six in February she’s yet to cast the anticipated movie.

“We don’t even have a filmmaker . . . so we are still a long way away from casting. I have some ideas . . . but it may not be who people expect,” James said.
