Cory Booker is the toast of Hollywood. The Newark mayor running for US Senate will feel the love at a $5,000-a-head fund-raiser April 25 at the Beverly Hills mansion of movie producer Jerry Weintraub. Co-hosts for the bash to toast the Democrat, according to the Hollywood Reporter, include Disney chief Bob Iger, DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg, Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams and Bruce Willis. Political guru Jeff Corless told Page Six: “ Booker may have more support in Los Angeles than any of the LA mayoral candidates.” Less than 20 percent of LA voters turned out at this month’s primary, and a paltry turnout is expected for the May runoff between Eric Garcetti and Wendy Greuel.
