Who knew that the Duke and Duchess had such a competitive streak?

Kate and Will likely kept tally of their bets as they cheered on their horses at the Cheltenham Festival in western England today, and it seems the couple’s rivalry even extends to board games.

The Telegraph reports that in the ITV documentary, “Our Queen,” the couple often clash over a game of Scrabble.

After a conversation with the Duchess, Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo says in the film, “She told me that when William and her play Scrabble they don’t usually finish it because one of them slams it shut.”

The new documentary (airing in Britain on Sunday) follows Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee year and gives a rare glimpse into royal life.

In Cheltenham today, the five-months pregnant Duchess wore a creamy coat, a brown hat and gloves. She was joined by her dapper husband, Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall.

Yesterday, Kate’s sister Pippa beamed from the banisters at the same event but all eyes were on the British socialite’s attractive male friend, Tom Kingston.
