Cloris Leachman turns some heads

Cloris Leachman, who’s been in the spotlight lately for reaching out to her terminally ill former “Mary Tyler Moore” co-star Valerie Harper, was seen over the weekend blowing off steam with a wild night on the town in LA. The star, 86, was at Mario Batali’s Osteria Mozza Saturday night, with her daughter Dinah Englund, and she made friends by approaching three separate tables of strangers and styling the female guests’ hair while rubbing men’s heads. Said a spy: “She was braiding the women’s hair, pinning back their bangs and dipping her hands into their water glasses to push back their hair.” The spy added that the “Young Frankenstein” star was also giving the ladies “kisses on their forehead or shoulders.” She then, “took a fork and brushed one guy’s hair with it,” and, “when one girl told her she was uncomfortable having her head touched, Leachman gave her a back massage. It was crazy.” When Leachman, who’d been tipping back the vino, spotted a guy smoking a cigarette outside, she yelled some health advice his way, saying, “Don’t you know that’s bad for you? You [bleep]ing [bleep]! Put it out! Don’t be an [bleep]hole. I’m serious!” Also spotted at the LA hot spot the same night was Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
