Maggie Gyllenhaal arrived at Target’s bash for stylist Kate Young on Tuesday with a radical pixie cut. She explained of the new ’do: “I cut it like a bowl for a movie where I play this really wild, super out-there musician, and I felt it was right for the movie.” After she shot the project, “Frank,” with Michael Fassbender, Gyllenhaal’s actor husband, Peter Sarsgaard, (who’s had some questionable coifs himself) was OK with the look. But a hairdresser named Serge wasn’t. “He cut it all off,” Gyllenhaal said.
