The Four Seasons served as a hive of babbling broadcasters, publishers and movie moguls at a Hollywood Reporter “35 Most Powerful People in Media” bash Wednesday. NBC’s Willie Geist gabbed about rumors of “Today” turmoil, telling us, “There’s no internal crap. Everybody gets along . . . We feel like we’re putting on a good show, probably a better show than we were putting on a year ago.” Sandra Lee dismissed rumors of her retirement from writing cookbooks, saying, “I want to focus on my magazine. I will have another cookbook, but probably not for a while.” Speaking of ratings turmoil, one CNN host, Piers Morgan, said he’s stalking very private Jack Nicholson to be a guest. “I’m homing in on him like a homing pigeon,” Morgan said. “I go to parties where he might be, I go to Lakers games, I’m getting him like a tracer.” And Harvey Weinstein discussed his relationship with the media, saying, “I’d rather just say, ‘Let this movie speak for itself,’ instead of put on the entire circus. However, I am willing to put on the whole circus.” Also there were Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Michael Strahan, Liza Minnelli, THR’s Janice Min and Lynne Segall, and Anna Wintour.
