Lindsay Lohan rejecting Charlie Sheen as ‘mentor’: report

Thanks but no thanks, Charlie.

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly rejecting Charlie Sheen’s offer to “mentor” his Hollywood kindred spirit.

Sources told TMZ that Lohan knows her life is “out of control” but does not think that Sheen’s the man for the job just because he’s a fellow troublemaker.

While she “appreciates” Sheen’s support in the past – including the $100K check he cut for her back taxes – he’s in no place to talk about her to the media.

Sheen told TMZ over the weekend, “I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not.”

He continued, “She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies, or turn to me for some advice from a guy who’s been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey.”

As The Post reported, Lohan borrowed a $1,750 ballroom gown to wear to a Fashion Week gala, but when she returned the designer dress, it was chopped down to a tattered miniskirt.

Lohan’s lawyer Mark Heller said his client was turning her life around and having intensive “one-on-one psychotherapy” in a bid to avoid more rehab: “Lindsay does not have a problem with alcohol or drugs . . . She is totally sober.”

Lohan, on probation for a necklace theft, is in trouble over a crash last summer on the Pacific Coast Highway. She claimed to be a passenger, but cops say she was the driver.
