After running into Bill Clinton at the Artists and Writers softball game in the Hamptons the other day, William Quigley, who has painted the former president’s portrait twice, is still confused as to where one of those works is. “I was told Clinton owned [one],” Quigley explained. “He said, ‘Yeah, it’s in one of the offices in Arkansas, and moves around . . . I think.’ It wasn’t clear.” Quigley, who had met Clinton only briefly in the past, had a nice chance to speak with him in the men’s room. “The security guys asked me to talk inside the bathroom as they cleared the door. Next thing you know, Bill and I are conversing for a minute alone in the men’s room entry,” he told us.
