Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria checked into Mount Sinai hospital today to give birth to the couple’s first child and a Baldwin rep confirmed the baby’s arrival Friday evening and Hilaria herself tweeted about the baby news a short time later:

The actor was seen arriving at the hospital today carrying a number of heavy bags. A source told us at lunchtime today, “The baby hasn’t arrived yet, but it could be any moment.”’
The couple recently revealed Hilaria is expecting a girl, and showed off their pink themed nursery they had built at home to Extra.
Yoga instructor Hilaria has been showing off a very large bump on her tiny frame in recent weeks, sparking speculation that their daughter may arrive earlier than the predicted date at the end of this month.
Alec, who has daughter Ireland with Kim Basinger , married Hilaria Thomas in June last year.
