Peggy Siegal, a behind-the-scenes p.r. power player, has become part of the show for one of her events.
For the premiere of “For No Good Reason,” about UK artist Ralph Steadman, Sony Pictures Classics surreptitiously sent Steadman a pic of Siegal to re-create as one of his gonzo portraits.
It imagines Peggy as a blonde whose head has exploded while holding an Oscar statue that is wearing undies, and the picture ended up on the invitation to the April 23 debut of the documentary, which features Johnny Depp and Richard E. Grant.
An exhibition of the artist’s work follows at Red Bull Studios.
