AMID so many losers in the Bernie Madoff rip-off, there’s at least one winner – Laura Goldman. The Tel Aviv-based money manager tried to blow the whistle on Madoff years ago – as did Harry Markopoulos and others – and was ignored. Goldman has been interviewed nonstop since January and was cited most recently in Time magazine. “My mother could have written the article,” she laughed to a friend. “It made me out to be a saint.” For Goldman, who gave the SEC 11 suggestions on how to fix the watchdog agency, it’s not just an ego boost – “It has increased my business,” she said.
