Barbara Walters was looking forward to having Trig, Sarah Palin‘s baby boy, in the studio today with the former VP candidate, who’s hawking her best seller “Going Rogue.” But Trig, who has Down syndrome, has a cold and didn’t make the trip from Alaska. “We were disappointed, but we understand. He’s only 1,” Walters told us. Because Oprah Winfrey already scored an interview with Palin, Walters’ distinction was having the exclusive with the baby. “But we were in Alaska and have plenty of footage of Trig,” she said. Plus, Palin’s other kids, Willow and Piper, will be in the studio. The interview will air on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday and Wednesday, plus on “Nightline” and “20/20.”
