Roman Polanski is having a rough holiday. The disgraced movie-maker is confined to his luxury ski chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, with only close family and expensive wine for company. Polanski, 76, is under house arrest awaiting possible deportation to the US for sodomizing a 13-year-old girl in 1977. But a source told Page Six, “His wife, Emmanuelle Seigner, has been spotted out in the town shopping for his favorite food and cheeses, while the champagne and wines have been delivered to the house. He’s planning a small family dinner for New Year’s Eve with possibly one or two other friends.” Polanski yesterday launched a $1.1 million suit against the paparazzi camped outside his home for allegedly invading his privacy and harassing his family.
