Katy Perry, shoe designer? We hear that the singer and recent guest judge on “American Idol” was offered $1 million for a collaboration with Steve Madden for a shoe line. Perry would be following in the footsteps of celebrity footwear designers Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Fergie. Madden has recently teamed up with Mary–Kate and Ashley Olsen to create shoes for the twins’ new JCPenney line, Olsenboye. A rep for Perry, who’s engaged to comic Russell Brand, said, “Katy is working on her next album, not a shoe line.”
