Not even Miley Cyrus can knock “El Gordo” off his perch in Times Square. Sources say Cyrus’ reps were pushing for the sexed-up Disney star to take over the coveted 11 p.m. slot on New Year’s Eve. But it’s belonged in the past few years to Univision’s Raúl de Molina, the giant host of the show “El Gordo y la Flaca” and the biggest TV personality in the Hispanic world. A source said, “Miley’s reps wanted her at 11, but the Times Square Alliance stuck by de Molina because he’s popular with the home crowd and rings in the New Year for Hispanic countries an hour ahead of New York.” Reps for Cyrus and the Alliance didn’t get back to us.
