Alec Baldwin‘s political ambitions will have to wait. The “30 Rock” star hinted to Eliot Spitzer on CNN’s “Parker Spitzer” that he’s “very interested” in running for office, as he told Playboy more than a year ago — but a source close to Baldwin told us he has not yet com mitted. “There’s nothing to run for in 2012,” the source said. “There’s a Democratic incum bent [Tim Bishop] in his district in the Hamptons, and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is looking strong.” His rep con firmed, “Alec has a contract with ’30 Rock’ through 2012, and after that he’ll keep his options open.”
