Harvey and Bob Weinstein nearly missed the Golden Globes to watch the Jets beat the Patriots. They locked themselves in a suite at Beverly Hills’ Peninsula Hotel with Electus chief Ben Silverman and Niche Media’s Jason Binn. Globes attendees were warned that doors at the Beverly Hilton would be locked at 4:30 p.m. sharp LA time, about the time the game ended, and latecomers wouldn’t be let in. Bob told us, “There was no way I was going to miss a minute of the game. I’ve waited 43 years for this,” referring to the Jets’ victory over the Colts in 1969, when Bob was 13. “We had to rush, but we just made it. It was worth it.” The Weinsteins celebrated later with Robert De Niro, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, 50 Cent, Matt Damon, Helena Bonham Carter and “best actor” Colin Firth.
