Lara Spencer, the blonde host of “The Insider,” isn’t the only one fuming over the surprise decision to give Mary Hart‘s “Entertainment Tonight” anchor chair to Nancy O’Dell this week. Seems that longtime “ET” producer Linda Bell turned thumbs down on O’Dell months ago, sources say. So Nancy’s agent, persistent John Ferriter, went straight to CBS honcho Les Moonves (CBS owns “ET”) and convinced him to chuck heir-apparent Spencer overboard for his client. Now an insider says, “They are already in full military mode to see how Nancy gets along with Linda.” Meanwhile, Long Island girl Spencer was coaxed into moving her family — TV reporter turned real estate broker David Haffenreffer and their two kids — to LA two years ago with the promise that Hart’s job was hers when the time came. Sources said she never even got a call from CBS telling her the bad news. An “ET” rep didn’t get back to us.
