‘Today’ host Savannah Guthrie pregnant

It was a big weekend for Savannah Guthrie.

The “Today” co-anchor married fiancé Mike Feldman near her hometown of Tucson, Ariz., on Saturday – an event of which most of the public was unaware – and announced to guests at the reception dinner that the couple is expecting their first child.

Guthrie, 42, is four months pregnant, with the baby due in late summer. She became engaged to Feldman, 45, a communications strategist, last May after four years of dating.

“Savannah looked at Mike, and said, ‘So, should we break some news? Okay. I – we – are four months pregnant!’ It was an explosive moment. Everyone was on their feet, cheering,” an eyewitness told People magazine.

Guthrie’s “Today” show colleagues Matt Lauer, Al Roker, Hoda Kotb and Willie Geist were there to watch Guthrie tie the knot.

The bride wore a Monique Lhuillier gown, and her brother Cameron, an F-16 pilot, walked her down the aisle.

Guthrie shared the happy news of the nuptials and pregnancy on Monday’s “Today” show, saying, “We are so excited, overjoyed and feel so blessed….I feel great, and actually I’m so happy to tell the world because I can’t suck in this gut anymore.”
