It was a high-society Thanksgiving at Swifty’s Thursday night, where Charlotte Ford was spotted celebrating the holiday with her daughter Elena Ford, the Ford Motor Co.’s director of global marketing, as well as one of Charlotte’s grandchildren. Others enjoying turkey dinners at the Upper East Side haunt included Ben Gazzara and his wife Elke Krivat, Joan and Ron Linclau, Suzanne Mados and Norman Dana. Meanwhile, out west, Nancy Reagan celebrated with daughter Patti Davis at the home of Connie Wald, the widow of producer Jerry Wald, whose credits included “Mildred Pierce,” “Key Largo” and “An Affair to Remember.” Nearby in Bel Air, we’re told, socialite Betsy Bloomingdale threw a traditional Thanksgiving for 27 family members at her home. And down in Palm Beach, former mayor Lesly Smith hosted a black-tie Thanksgiving at her home. David and Julia Koch were slated to throw Smith a cocktail party at their home, the onetime residence of Dolly O’Brien, yesterday.
Society thanks at Swifty’s
